Researchers and doctoral students from Eastern and Central Europe, the former Soviet Union and Balkan countries are welcome to apply for a scholarship from the Queen Jadwiga Fund for the academic year 2024/2025. The scholarship enables to conduct short-term research stays at the Jagiellonian University.
The competition's laureates would be appointed by the JU Own Funds Council. The scholarship recipients will have a one-time scholarship granted for their whole stay in Krakow. They also may use free accomodation in the JU dormitory.
Applicants should send their documents by traditional mail in a non-extendible term of June 15th, 2024 to the following address:

The complete documentation shall consist of:
- application form;
- curriculum vitae;
- plan of research to be realised in Cracow;
- information on the candidate's previous research;
- list of publications;
- letter of recommendation by the JU scientific employee.
Researchers before habilitation or not having the professors' title should also attach a tutor's opinion from their unit.
